The solo exhibition of Elene Chantladze at Kvareli Foundation for Contemporary Art presents a comprehensive selection of her work, bringing together visual practice and poetry within a single institutional framework.

Conceived as her first institutional exhibition in Georgia, the presentation situates Elene Chantladze’s practice within a broader artistic context while remaining attentive to the conditions in which her work has developed. Her drawings, texts, and poetic fragments emerge through a restrained use of means, where repetition, inscription, and accumulation form the basis of her visual language. The integration of poetry within the exhibition foregrounds the inseparability of image and text in her practice, where writing operates not as a supplement, but as a parallel and interdependent form. Across the exhibition, her works articulate a mode of expression shaped by persistence, marginality, and a continuous engagement with everyday experience.

The exhibition brings Elene Chantladze’s work into a shared space that allows its visual and textual dimensions to be read in relation, foregrounding the continuity of her practice across time. It brings together works produced over an extended period, allowing for a sustained reading of her practice without isolating individual moments. The inclusion of her poetry establishes a broader framework through which her work can be understood, extending the scope of the exhibition beyond the visual field.
